You brought me into life as if into an enchanted paradise. We have seen the sky like a chalice of deepest blue, and listened to the soothing murmur of the forest and melodious music of the streams. It is a pleasure to be your guest. Glory to You, O God, from age to age!
Christ is Born! Glorify Him!
Prayers and blessings to all.
Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me; Lord, be my helper! You have turned my mourning into dancing; you have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.
We continue a study of the Gospel of Luke 8. The second half of this chapter offers a string of miracles, one after the other, revealing Jesus divine power and glory.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord of hosts! Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Have mercy on us, God the Father Almighty! O Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, God of hosts, be with us, for we have no helper in our hardships and distress but you.
Eternal God, O Light without beginning and everlasting, Fountain of mercy, Abyss of goodness! Cause the light of your face to shine upon us, and direct the works of our hands to do your will.
Christ, the true Light! You enlighten and sanctify all people. May your light so shine in us that we may see your brilliance, through the prayers of your all-pure Mother and all your saints.
We entreat you, Lord, give us grace and strength to sing your praises with understanding, and to pray to you unceasingly, working out our salvation in fear and trembling with the help of your Christ.
Fill our mouths with your praise, O Lord, that we may ever extol your holy name, and share the inheritance of all who truly hold you in awe and keep your commandments.
